As the name suggests, the focus here is on Burger creations, but salads and other dishes are also offered.
Orders are taken directly near the kitchen and not at the table.
We had the classic cheese burger (medium well done), Chili Chicken Salad and Onion rings, among a few sides. The rings were crispy, without the onions being too soft, the salad extremely tasty (roasted cashews are a great touch) and the burger a palette feast that I highly recommend.
The staff is very courteous and patient. Tips are not included in the bill, so don't forget to leave something in the cups near the cashiers. -

Gourmet Burger has been a dependable restaurant for decent food on my now five trips to Oxford. Really, I can be a fan of any restaurant that serves proper sweet potato fries, but Gourmet Burger does a superb job especially with their accompanying bacon mayonnaise. The Major Tom burger is particularly noteworthy, and service is what you'd expect for an establishment that is run by and caters to the local University crowd.

I've been living in oxford for the year from the us and haven't had one good burger. This place is honestly really good. Can cook a burger how you like not always well done and very good taste. Definitely go if you want a burger

Stumbled along this place while walking in Oxford. Can I just say amazing burgers and shakes; on our table, we had a cheeseburger, an original chicken, a bun less option original chicken and a salted caramel shake. Everything was beyond amazing

After a short wait, our party of five was seated. We placed our order at the counter, the staff was very friendly and patient. Our food came very quickly, and it was all just as ordered and wonderful! The salted caramel milkshake was fabulous. Everyone in our party was happy with their meal. I would recommend this place.
